Trustee Positions HeartLine wishes to recruit 3 Trustees to fill key roles from April when its existing Chair, Vice Chair and one other Trustee will stand down. The role of Treasurer is also up for re-election.
Elections will take place at HeartLine’s AGM on 17th April 2010 to be held at Ronald McDonald House in London.
Nominations are required for the following positions which are re-elected each year:
Due to the current economic climate, which has resulted in HeartLine drawing significantly upon its reserves and the need to rationalise our activities, performance and efficiency, we are particularly keen to hear from experienced Business Managers / Accountants / Fundraisers / Communications Professionals etc who can help guide HeartLine to a stable and successful future and perhaps another 30 years.
As a part of our ongoing Strategic Business Plan, we have identified that HeartLine would benefit from someone with professional business management skills, possibly from their own Company, as a Business Unit Manager or Director. This candidate may well be suited to be nominated as our new Chair or Vice-Chair or stand as a normal Trustee to provide impartial guidance to the Management Committee.
Each of these roles is required to be filled in order for to HeartLine to maintain itself as a Charity. If HeartLine is unable to fill the five roles at its AGM, the current Trustees will be required to inform the Charity Commission and potentially close.
